Sad news emerging Friday, as UFC middleweight Josh Samman has been found unresponsive in a Florida apartment. Another man was also found in the apartment.
News first surfaced on Reddit Friday, and later Jim Edwards of FloCombat posted on the thread, updating the situation.
Hi guys. I'm not at liberty to say anything because it's not my news to announce. All I can say is Josh is in a bad way in hospital right now, alive to my knowledge, but in a bad way. I'm not the religious type but please send all your good vibes and prayers to this dude. I've sat and drank beers with this guy and he's a friendly approachable guy., one of the genuinely amazing guys at his core :(
Samman is currently on a two fight losing streak in the UFC, and is no stranger to adversity. Samman's girlfriend died in 2013. Mike Towell, who was also found in the apartment with Samman is still alive, according to Jonathan Snowden.
