UFC Moscow Results: Aleksei Oleinik Chokes Out Mark Hunt, Jan Blachowicz Steamrolls Nikita Krylov (Video Highlights)

"The Boa Constrictor" wraps another one up, and sends fans in Moscow home happy.

Aleksei Oleinik made short work of the veteran Mark Hunt Saturday afternoon in Moscow, Russia, choking out the former UFC title challenger for the first time ever int he first round of their main event bout after overcoming a big right hand early.

Round One: The round begins with Hunt attacking Oleinik with some leg kicks, Hunt uses the jab to keep Oleinik at bay. Oleinik comes forward and he takes a few swings at Hunt, Hunt rocks Oleinik with a multiple punch combination. Hunt then pops Oleinik with a left hook to the chin, Hunt then nails an incoming Oleinik with a straight right. Oleinik hits Hunt with a left before stunning him with a right, Oleinik grabs Hunt and he drags him to the ground while getting back control. Oleinik catches Hunt in a rear naked choke and a tap out follows.

Official Result: #11 Aleksei Oleinik def. #8 Mark Hunt by submission via rear naked choke (4:26, R1)

Hunt now has one win in his last four fights, to go along with his sinking #8 ranking. Aleksei Oleinik has won four of his last five, and hopes to crack the top ten from his #12 ranking spot. 

Elsewhere on the show, #4 Jan Blachowicz made short work of the returning Nikita Krylov. Blachowicz applied an odd arm triangle variation from the side of Krylov after dominating the returning fighter while on the ground. The 35-year old Blachowicz has now won four fights in a row, and signaled that he wanted a title fight.
