“I will continue to keep a clean record in the UFC, showing the world my “China Power,'” Guan said in a UFC-produced video. “It’s a dream come true. My ability is approved by the UFC now. This also means the opponents I face next will be the best in the world. This will push me to train even harder.”

The Chinese born fighter has primarily competed in just two MMA promotions during his decade-plus professional MMA career, those promotions were Art Of War and Ranik Ultimate Fighting Federation.

A lone loss in his pro MMA career came to World Series Of Fighting veteran Bekbulat Magomedov by unanimous decision in November 2013.

He will be making his UFC debut while on a three fight winning streak. He hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years, but he also hasn’t competed in over two years time as well. Guan has earned the majority of his victories by knockout, with ten total knockouts thus far in his career.
