UFC Veteran Dave Kaplan Appears On Jeopardy

A lot of celebrities and sports figures have appeared on the game show Jeopardy before and now UFC veteran Dave Kaplan can be added to that list.

The seven fight pro MMA veteran would finish in last place on the game show according to MMA Junkie, with the episode airing last night (1/10/2019). Kaplan would finish with a grand total of $0, making him ineligible to compete on Final Jeopardy, which is the question that closes out the show.

Other contestants on the show opposite of Kaplan included Anneke Garcia and Jessica Holloway, who had won two straight episodes heading into the Thursday edition of the show.

Kaplan held a professional MMA record of 3-4-0, with those victories coming over Xander Nel, Steve Headden and Rich Swawola. Kaplan would also participate in the UFC Ultimate Fighter 8, making it to the quarterfinals of the reality show before losing to Phillipe Nover by first round submission. Kaplan would also fight twice in the UFC, dropping bouts to the duo of Junie Browning and George Roop. Kaplan’s last professional MMA fight took place at Tachi Palace Fights 5 in July of 2010, where he suffered a third round TKO loss to Dominique Robinson.
