The main event is set for the forthcoming Cage Warriors 93 card and it is going to be a welterweight division affair as UFC veteran Nicolas Dalby faces Carlo Pedersoli Jr.
Dalby (14-2-1) won just one of four fights during his UFC tenure, with that victory coming over Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos at UFC Fight Night 67. Dalby hasn’t picked up a victory in almost three years, as the win over the aforementioned Dos Santos came in May of 2015. Dalby is a former Cage Warriors Welterweight Champion, defeating Sergei Churilov at CWFC 66 to win the gold.
Pedersoli Jr (9-1-0) is going to be making his Cage Warriors debut in this fight and does so on the strength of a six bout winning streak. Pedersoli Jr has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Yuki Okano at Real Fight Championship 3. Pedersoli Jr has competed twice in the Magnum FC promotion, defeating the duo of Orlando D’Ambrosio and Pavel Pinzul.
Cage Warriors 93 takes place on Saturday, April 28 from the Lisebergshallen in Gothenburg, Sweden with Nicolas Dalby and Carlo Pedersoli Jr headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
