UFC Veteran Headlining CES MMA 46

A welterweight division attraction is going to be headlining the upcoming CES MMA 46 card as UFC veteran John Howard is in action against Roger Carroll.

Howard (24-13-0) is going to be returning to action for the first time in over a year, with his last bout being a loss to Abubakar Nurmagomedov at the World Series Of Fighting 33. Howard won seven of fourteen fights during his two UFC runs, with notable wins coming over Tamdan McCrory, Dennis Hallman, Uriah Hall and Siyar Bahadurzada. Howard also returns to CES MMA for the first time in over three years, with his last bout in the promotion coming at CES MMA New Blood in June 2013.

Carroll (16-14-0) enters the fight riding a three fight losing streak and he hasn’t earned a victory in well over two years. Carroll competed twice under the Bellator MMA banner, dropping fights to the duo of Neiman Gracie and Brennan Ward. Carroll is also returning to action after an extended absence, with his last bout coming at Bellator 151 in March of 2016.

CES MMA 46 takes place on Friday, October 27 from the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island with John Howard and Roger Carroll headlining. Fightful is providing quick results of the event, which airs live on AXS TV.
