A flyweight division attraction is going to be headlining the Legacy Fighting Alliance 65 card as UFC veteran Joby Sanchez is in action against Brandon Royval.
Sanchez (12-4-0) is undefeated thus far in LFA competition, defeating Demetrius Wilson by unanimous decision at LFA 58. Sanchez won just one of five bouts during his two runs in the UFC, with that single victory coming over Tateki Matsuda at UFC Fight Night 59. Sanchez has picked up twelve wins as a professional MMA fighter, with four by KO/TKO, four by submission and four by way of decision.
Royval (8-4-0) has picked up wins in four of six LFA appearances, but is coming off of a loss to recently signed UFC star Casey Kenney at LFA 53. Royval has suffered a total of four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came by way of decision. Royval is winless in main event fights with the LFA, having dropped a headlining bout to the aforementioned Kenney at LFA 53.
Legacy Fighting Alliance 65 takes place on Friday, May 3 from the Dobson Arena in Vail, Colorado with Joby Sanchez and Brandon Royvakl headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on AXS TV.
