A big bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC On Fox 22 as Urijah Faber will be seeing action against Brad Pickett.
Faber (33-10-0) has only won just one of his last four under the UFC banner -- that lone win came over Frankie Saenz at UFC 194. Four of the five losses that Faber has suffered under the UFC banner came in title fights to Dominick Cruz (twice) and Renan Barao (twice). Faber is also a former WEC Bantamweight Champion, he defended the belt twice before losing it to Mike Brown at WEC 36.
Pickett (25-12-0) has only won just one of his last five in UFC competition, and has not put a winning streak together in four years. Pickett will be competing for the third time this year, which is the most active he has been since 2014. Prior to coming to the UFC in 2011, Pickett did defeat current UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson at WEC 48 in December 2010.
UFC On Fox 22 will be taking place on Saturday, December 17th from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California with Paige VanZant and Michelle Waterson headlining.
