A women’s flyweight division bout has been added to the upcoming Bellator MMA 191 card as Valerie Letourneau faces Kate Jackson.

Letourneau (8-6-0) is going to be making her Bellator MMA debut in this fight and does so while riding a three fight losing streak. Letourneau has previously challenged for the UFC Women’s Strawweight Title, losing to current champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 193. Letourneau also competed in the first female flyweight bout in UFC history, which was a loss to Joanne Calderwood at UFC Fight Night 89.
Jackson (9-2-1) is currently undefeated in Bellator MMA competition, having defeated Colleen Schneider by first round TKO at Bellator 182. Jackson also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23, losing in the semi-finals of the reality show to eventual winner Tatiana Suarez. Letourneau hasn’t suffered a defeat in over four years as a pro, with her last defeat coming to current UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at Professional League Of MMA 17.
Bellator 191 takes place on Friday, December 15 from the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, England with no main event announced at this time. Fightful will provide live coverage of the event, which airs live on Spike TV.
