A women?s flyweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 243 as Valerie Loureda faces Tara Graff.
The promotion announced the preliminary card bout earlier today through Twitter.
Loureda (2-0-0) has spent her entire professional MMA career in Bellator MMA, defeating the duo of Colby Fletcher and Larkyn Dasch. Loureda also went undefeated as an amateur MMA fighter, picking up a win over Hannah Jackson in September of 2018. Loureda is competing for the first time in over a year, as her last bout took place at Bellator 222 in June of 2019.
Graff (1-1-0) is making her Bellator MMA debut in this fight and is also competing for the first time in well over a year. Graff has picked up a single win as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Marisol Ruelas at King Of The Cage: New Frontier. Graff competed four times as an amateur MMA fighter and all of those bouts happened in the Spartyka Fight League promotion.
Bellator 243 takes place on Friday, August 7 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Michael Chandler and Ben Henderson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
