Vincente Luque picked up a submission victory over Niko Price in their preliminary card bout at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo.
When Luque makes his return to the Octagon, the victorious Luque wants a fight with top ranked Darren Till.
“I want to get the best strikers in the division,” Luque said to MMA Junkie. “I believe Darren Till is a guy who’s doing awesome, and he has beautiful striking. I feel like a fight with me and him, that’s going to be awesome. Also, Cerrone, (Jorge) Masvidal – those guys are big names. But Till? I think Till will be an exciting fight.”
Till last competed in the main event of UFC Fight Night Gdansk and he defeated Donald Cerrone by first round TKO in that bout.
Luque wouldn’t mind a fight with Till because he wants to test himself against somebody who is a great striker.
“He’s a great striker,” Luque said. “He’s a long guy. He knows how to move well. I want to test myself against a guy like that. Now I’m ready to face a top guy like that.”
Despite the challenge from Luque, fellow welterweight Till has yet to issue a response of any kind to said challenge.
