WBO Rankings Update July 2019: Two New No. 1 Contenders Named

Although things are light when it came to the most recent WBO rankings, a couple of noteworthy developments occurred at cruiserweight and junior middleweight.

At cruiserweight, after a rollercoaster that has been the aftermath of the World Boxing Super Series semifinals, Krzysztof Glowacki is now the No. 1 contender for the WBO title and will get a shot at the championship once the tournament concludes. As for the junior middleweight division, Carlos Adames is the No. 1 contender for that title after a win over Patrick Day on the June 28 edition Top Rank on ESPN.
