A welterweight division affair is the latest addition to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 109 card as Nico Musoke is taking on Bojan Velickovic.
Musoke (13-4-0-1NC) has won three of five fights under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over Alessio Sakara, Viscardi Andrade and Alexander Yakovlev. Musoke will be competing for the first time in well over two years, with his last fight being a loss to Albert Tumenov at UFC On Fox 14 in January 2015. Musoke has also seen his last four fights go the distance and it has been over three years since one of his fights didn’t go to the judge’s scorecards.
Velickovic (14-4-1) has won just one of three fights during his UFC tenure, with that lone victory coming over Alessio Di Chirico at UFC Fight Night 86. Velickovic also won four of five fights during his time in the Resurrection Fighting Alliance, the lone defeat came to UFC veteran Gilbert Smith. Velickovic was a cast member on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 19, but he lost an opening round fight to Tim Williams.
UFC Fight Night 109 takes place on Saturday, May 28 from the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden with Alexander Gustafsson and Glover Teixeira headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event.
