A huge welterweight division bout has been added to Bellator 183 as Paul Daley is going to be in action against UFC veteran Lorenz Larkin.
Daley (39-15-2) has won four of six fights during his second tenure with Bellator MMA, defeating Andre Santos, Dennis Olson, Andy Uhrich and Brennan Ward. Daley has only suffered two defeats during his time in Bellator MMA, with those losses coming to the duo of Rory MacDonald and Douglas Lima. Daley also won a pair of fights during his time in the UFC, with those victories coming over Martin Kampmann and Dustin Hazelett.
Larkin (18-6-0) is currently winless under the Bellator MMA banner, dropping a welterweight title fight to Douglas Lima by decision at Bellator 180. Larkin also won five of ten fights during his UFC tenure, with notable wins coming over Jorge Masvidal and Neil Magny. Larkin also spent some time competing in the Strikeforce promotion, where he defeated former UFC Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler by decision.
Bellator 183 takes place on Friday, September 23 from the SAP Center in San Jose, California with Ben Henderson and Patricky Freire headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Spike TV.
