After devastatingly knocking out Englishman Darren Till in early 2019, Jorge Masvidal attacked Leon Edwards who also fought on the same night. The seed for a fight between the pair seemed to have been planted that very night and logically seemed like the next fight to make for both parties. However, over 18 months later the two have still not fought. More talk of the feud between Edwards and Masvidal comes after Edwards' fight against Khamzat Chimaev was canceled once again. With Edwards left without an opponent but still wanting to fight on January 20, could his long time rival Masvidal step in on short notice and take the fight? Edwards took to Twitter to call out Masvidal.
