A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 253 as William Knight is in action against Aleksa Camur.
The bout was announced during the UFC Vegas 9 broadcast.
Knight (8-1-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Knight competed on Dana White?s Contender Series Episode 31, defeating Cody Brundage by first round TKO. Knight has competed nine times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went the distance.
Camur (6-0-0) has already earned one victory under the UFC banner, which came over Justin Ledet at UFC 246. Camur also competed on Dana White?s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 6, defeating Fabio Cherant by second round TKO. Camur has picked up five of six wins by KO/TKO, while the other victory came by way of decision.
UFC 253 takes place on Saturday, September 26 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
