Musician Wiz Khalifa is a longtime fan of mixed martial arts, having trained for quite some time at the Unbreakable Performance gym in California.

Khalifa is willing to take an MMA fight, but the promotion is going to have to give him a whole bunch of money in order for that to happen.

“I like Bellator, I like the organization. They’re super cool and their fights are fun to watch, but like, you got to pay me a whole bunch of money to get me to fight, man. I train with the best, all my trainers show me all the best s--t, all the fighters show me hella love, so that s--t’s fun, man,” Khalifa said to TMZ.

Bellator MMA does have an relationship with Khalifa, as analyst Jay Glazer is the founder of the gym that the musician trains at.

It doesn’t seem like there is much of a chance that Khalifa would actually fight though, since he prefers rapping over fighting.

“I could [go pro],” he said. “I like rapping better. I wouldn’t be a professional fighter, I’d just fight, know what I’m saying?”

The rapper is just another member of the entertainment world who mentions a possible transition to MMA, as musician 50 Cent has been going back and forth with former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Rampage Jackson in recent weeks.
