The women’s flyweight division is going to be featured at Bellator 182 as Veta Arteaga is in action against Bruna Ellen.
Arteaga (3-1-0) has won two of three during her tenure in Bellator MMA, with those two victories coming over the duo of Jackie Vandenburgh and Brooke Mayo. Arteaga has seen all of her professional MMA fights go to the third round and only one of those fights didn’t go to the judge’s scorecards. Arteaga also went winless during her stint as an amateur MMA fighter, dropping a bout to Kaytlin Neil in June of 2014.
Ellen (3-1-0) has won just one of two fights under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating Carmela James and suffering a defeat to Jessica Middleton. Ellen also competed twice in the Max Fights promotion, defeating the duo of Pamela Mara Assis and Alen Torres. Ellen also went undefeated during herone fight run as an amateur MMA fighter, defeating Isabela De Padua in November of 2014.
Bellator 182 takes place on Friday, August 25 from the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, New York with Andrey Koreshkov and Chidi Njokuani headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Spike TV.
