Fans who watched Bellator 172 on TV or who were in attendance at the SAP Center in San Jose, California were no doubt disappointed after the highly anticipated fight between Fedor Emelianenko and Matt Mitrione got canned.
However, there may be a silver lining in the whole situation, outside of the fight being rescheduled, because you will soon have the chance to own Fedor?s glorious sweater.
According to Bellator MMA President Scott Coker, there?s going to be an auction soon where the highest bidder can win one of Fedor?s signature sweaters.
?We had hoped that this would be a different circumstance,? Coker admitted to MMA Junkie. ?What Fedor has agreed to do is he?s going to auction off the sweater, so we?re going to auction it off through the Bellator channels. We?re going to announce how we?re going to do it soon. But we?re going to auction it off for a non-profit organization.?
