YouTubers Logan Paul And KSI Meet Ahead Of August 25 Fight

Manchester Arena has held big boxing events in 2018 alone: the World Boxing Super Series, Tyson Fury’s first boxing fight since 2015 and now a boxing fight between two popular YouTubers.

British YouTuber KSI, real name Olajide William "JJ" Olatunji, and American YouTuber Logan Paul will fight in an exhibition bout at the Manchester Arena on August 25.

The two had a press conference to build up anticipation for the fight, which will be streamed on YouTube for free, but the conference got heated to say the least. Paul, who has close to 18 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, abruptly left the press conference upon listening to KSI make comments about his girlfriend.

"Apparently you only have 85 percent of your testicle. Let me give her the extra 15. Let me show her a real man," KSI exclaimed at Paul at the press conference.

The feud between the two started all the way back in February when KSI won his amateur debut against fellow YouTuber Joe Weller by third-round TKO. KSI called out Paul to a fight and both sides eventually agreed to a fight deal. This will be Paul’s first boxing match. KSI, who has roughly 19 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, has been training with UK amateur boxing standout Viddal Riley and even visited Floyd Mayweather's gym in Las Vegas.

The battle between KSI and Paul isn’t the only one boxing match among YouTubers that will take place on August 25. KSI’s younger brother Deji Olatunji and Paul’s brother Jake will also have a boxing match against each other.
