A lightweight division affair has been added to the upcoming Bellator 186 card as Zach Freeman looks for the win as he battles Saad Awad.

Freeman (9-2-0) is currently undefeated in Bellator MMA competition, having submitted Aaron Pico in the first round of their bout at Bellator 180. Freeman has previously challenged for the Resurrection Fighting Alliance Lightweight Title, losing to Thiago Moises at RFA 44. Freeman also competed once in the Titan Fighting Championships and he was submitted by Jake Lindsey at Titan FC 25.

Awad (20-9-0) has won just one of his last three under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over Ryan Quinn at Bellator 178. Awad also won just one of three fights during his brief run in the welterweight division, that one win was over Evangelita Santos at Bellator 154. Awad was also the first fighter to defeat former Bellator MMA Lightweight Champion Will Brooks, that victory came at Bellator 91.

Bellator 186 takes place on Friday, November 3 from the Bryce Jordan Center At Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania with Ryan Bader and Linton Vassell headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which is going to be airing live on Spike TV.
