More Fights Set For UFC 212

Three more fights have been added to the UFC 212 card as Antonio Carlos Jr faces Eric Spicely, #12 Johnny Eduardo faces Matthew Lopez and Marco Beltran faces Deiveson Alcantara.

Carlos Jr (7-2-0-1NC) will be entering the fight riding a two fight winning streak, defeating both Leonardo Guimaraes and Marvin Vetori. Carlos Jr will be competing in Brazil for the first time in nearly two years, as UFC Fight Night 70 was his last appearance in the country.

Spicely (10-1-0) will also be entering the fight riding a two fight winning streak, with those wins coming over Thiago Santos and Alessio Di Chirico. Spicely competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23, where he made it to the semi-finals before losing to Andrew Sanchez.

Eduardo (28-10-0) has won three of five fights in the UFC, with some notable wins coming over Eddie Wineland and Manny Gamburyan. Eduardo has averaged just one fight a year with the UFC since he signed with the promotion in 2011.

Lopez (9-1-0) has won just one of two in the UFC, defeating Mitch Gagnon and suffering a defeat to Rani Yahya. Lopez also competed five times in the Resurrection Fighting Alliance, winning all five fights by first round finish.

Beltran (8-4-0) has won three of four fights during his UFC tenure, with those three wins coming over Marlon Vera, Guangyou Ning and Reginaldo Vieira. Beltran also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter Brazil 1 and made it to the semi-finals before losing to Jose Alberto Quinonez.

Alcantara (11-0-0) will be making his UFC debut in this fight and only one of his professional MMA fights went the distance. Alcantara also competed three times in Jungle Fight, with those victories coming over Rayner Silva, Antonio Miranda and Denis Fontes.

UFC 212 takes place on Saturday, June 3 from the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil with Jose Aldo and Max Holloway headlining.
