NJPW Finds New Color Commentator For English Broadcasts

Don Callis is replacing Steve Corino as the color commentator for New Japan Pro Wrestling's Englush language broadcasts.

Callis, who was known as The Jackyl in WWF and Cyrus in ECW, made the announcement on the latest episode of his Killing The Town podcast, which he co-hosts with former WWE, WCW, and ECW star Lance Storm.

Callis also posted the following tweet:

Corino, who started his job at the WWE Performance Center last week, worked his final NJPW broadcast January 4 for Wrestle Kingdom 11, from the Tokyo Dome.

All English-language broadcasts air on New Japan's online streaming service, NJPW World. Kevin Kelly, who is also the lead broadcaster for Ring of Honor, will remain the play-by-play broadcaster for the New Japan broadcasts as well.
