Match By Match Recap

Henare vs. Tomoyuki Oka

The match begins with Henare nailing Oka with a kick to the midsection before applying a headlock, Oka escapes and he drops Henare with a shoulder tackle. Oka catches Henare with a hip toss for a near fall, Oka catches Henare with a double under hook suplex for another near fall. Oka locks Henare in the Boston cra, Oka transitions to a single leg crab on Henare until Henare gets to the ropes. Henare recovers to hit Oka with an elbow strike followed by a flying shoulder tackle, Henare slams Oka before going to the top rope. Henare nails Oka with a top rope diving shoulder tackle for a near fall, Henare stomps on the back of a downed Oka before applying the Boston crab.

Oka eventually gets to the rops to break the hold, Oka and Henare have a forearm strike exchange in the middle of the ring. Henare plants a charging Oka with a Samoan drop followed by a suplex for a near fall, Henare reapplies the Boston crab and Oka taps out.

Winner: Henare

Third Generation (Yuji Nagata & Satoshi Kojima) vs. Yoshi Tatsu & Yushin “Thunder” Liger

The match begins with Tatsu overpowering Nagata and pushing him into the ropes, Nagata gets angry and he kicks away at Tatsu. Nagata drops Tatsu before kicking him right in the back, Kojima and Liger get the tags from their respective partners. Liger tries attacking Kojima with a series of shoulder tackles until he finally goes down, Kojima quickly recovers and he drops Liger with a suplex. Kojima and Liger exchange strikes in the middle of the ring until Liger goes down, Nagata tags in and he teams with Kojima to hit Liger with a double shoulder tackle. Nagata starts stomping on a downed Liger, Liger tries fighting back by assaulting Nagata with chops.

Nagata traps Liger in the corner by attacking him with a series of strikes, Liger eventually drops Nagata with a clothesline before tagging in Tatsu. Tatsu drops Nagata before nailing him with a series of kicks, Nagata and Tatsu have a forearm strike exchange until Nagata nails him with an exploder suplex. Kojima tags in and he assaults Tatsu with a series of chops in the corner, Tatsu fights back and he eventually drops Kojima with a wheel kick. Liger tags in and he catches Kojima with a palm strike, Tatsu hits Kojima with a blue thunder driver for a near fall. Liger and Nagata brawl on the arena floor for a short time, Nagata  hits the ring to nail Tatsu with a knee strike. Kojima catches Tatsu with an ace crusher followed by a lariat for the three count.

Winners: Third Generation (Yuji Nagata & Satoshi Kojima)

Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Tiger Mask IV vs. Suzuki-Gun (Taka Michinoku & Takashi Iizuka)

The match begins with Michinoku and Iizuka jumping their opponents on the arena floor, Michinoku battles Mask IV on the arena floor as Iizuka brings Tenzan into the ring. IIzuka chokes Tenzan in the middle of the ring, Iizuka releases the choke to attack Tenzan with a series of stomps. Tenzan recovers to nail a charging Iizuka with a wheel kick, Mask IV and Michinoku get the tags from their respective partners. Mask IV uses his legs to launch Michinoku across the ring, Mask IV drops Michinoku with a series of strikes. Iizuka interferes and that allows Michinoku to nail him with a jumping front kick, Michinoku locks Mask IV in a chin lock as Iizuka and Tenzan fight on the arena floor.

Iizuka tags in as Michinoku is choking Mask IV in the corner, Iizuka brings Mask IV to the arena floor before tossing him into the barricade. Iizuka brings Mask IV into the crowd as Michinoku brawls with Tenzan on the arena floor, Iizuka eventually tosses Mask IV into a bunch of chairs. Michinoku throws Mask IV into the ring so Iizuka can work on him further, Iizuka misses a charge to the corner and then Mask IV drops an interfering Michinoku. Mask IV catches Iizuka with a tiger bomb before tagging Tenzan in, Tenzan starts attacking izuka with some Mongolian chops and headbutts. Tenzan hits Iizuka with a suplex for a near fall, Iizuka hits a charging Tenzan with an atomic drop as Michinoku attacks Mask IV.

Iizuka and Michinoku also attack Tenzan with some double team moves, Michinoku and Mask IV brawl on the arena floor as Tenzan hits Iizuka with a suplex. Tenzan locks Iizuka in the anaconda vice and Michinoku breaks it all up, Mask IV and Michinoku battle on the arena floor once again. Tenzan goes to the top rope and Michinoku traps him up there, Iizuka throws Tenzan off of the top rope. Iizuka grabs a chair and Mask IV takes it away from him, Michinoku takes care of Mask IV and Tenzan hits him with a shoulder tackle. Iizuka grabs the iron glove and he nails Tenzan with it to cause a disqualification.

Winners: Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Tiger Mask IV by DQ
