Pair Of Bouts Added To UFC Fight Night 109

Two more fights have been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 109 card as Ben Saunders faces Peter Sobotta and Emil Meek faces Nordine Taleb.

Saunders (21-7-2) has won four of his last five UFC bouts, those four wins came over Chris Heatherly, Joe Riggs, Court McGee and Kenny Robertson. Saunders will be competing internationally for the UFC for the first time in over seven years, his last international fight for the promotion came at UFC 111 in March 2010.

Sobotta (16-5-1) has won three of four in his second UFC run, with his last win coming over Nicolas Dalby at UFC Fight Night 93. Sobotta is actually undefeated on “Fight Night” cards, having earned a record of 3-0-0 on those cards.

Meek (9-2-1-1NC) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Jordan Mein by decision at UFC 206. Prior to signing with the UFC last year, Meek defeated former World Series Of Fighting Welterweight Champion Rousimar Palhares at Venator FC 3.

Taleb (12-4-0) has won four of six fights during his UFC tenure, with notables wins coming over Erick Silva and Chris Clements. Taleb also fought three times in Bellator MMA, earning victories over the duo of Matt Secor and Matt McGrath.

UFC Fight Night 109 takes place on Saturday, May 28 from the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden with Alexander Gustafsson and Glover Teixeira headlining.
