Machida/Heather Hardy pro wrestling notes

I mentioned earlier this week that I was interviewing Heather Hardy and Lyoto Machida. I actually spoke to both Bellator stars about their links to pro wrestling.

Hardy told me she was recruited by WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz early on to get into pro wrestling, but she had too much of an appetite for fighting and competition to go that route. She says she still keeps in contact with Rodz regularly.

Machida opened up in great detail about living with Daniel Bryan and Shinsuke Nakamura in LA in 2003, and shared some stories about that. He also opened up about the infamous Inoki slap after one of his fights.
