Mustafa Ali talked to us recently, and joked that he never gets notice for anything, and his WWE call up was supposed to be a one-off. After his impressive performance, he was brought up full time on the WWE main roster the next week, and only knew a few hours ahead.

As far as his vignettes, WWE intentionally stay hands off on them because they know they can’t recreate them well. When Vince McMahon orders one, Ali has it made.
