Most medical professionals he's spoken to indicate they think he'll be able to return, but getting better physically is the primary goal. He's going to be on oxygen for a number of weeks.Hi Sean! Is there any truth to the rumors that Mox threatened to quit earlier this year and in turn messed up the plans for Swerve and Danielson? Or is it just baseless twitter gossip? ThanksI saw a tweet about that after WrestleDream and was baffled. I've never heard anything remotely approaching that. The plan for Bryan Danielson to beat Swerve at AEW All In was pretty well decided by the time Swerve even won the title. That's part of the reason Ospreay was eager to put over Swerve in the Summer, because he knew he wasn't having the match at Wembley that many expected. Moxley's absence this summer was planned and they knew when he'd come back.I feel like the wording of Danielson's retirement changed from retiring from full-time to just retiring in the last few weeks. Are those in AEW management less confident than they were before of him returning to them when he does indeed decide to wrestle part timeRight now, there are no firm plans for Bryan Danielson to wrestle again that I've heard of. The door isn't closed, but that isn't his priority. His priority is his family and getting his neck fixed. He's said he wants to come back in some capacity, but the severity of his physical situation became much more clear as he finished up. They still used "full-time" terminology on TV.
