Update on top UK name at TNA tapings

On February 22nd during a TNA taping in Orlando, Florida, Man Like DeReiss would make an appearance for the promotion, wrestling in one of the first matches of the taping.

Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan and Sean Ross Sapp have learned from sources in the UK scene that Man Like DeReiss’ appearance at the tapings was actually a tryout for the UK name. We reported earlier this week that DeReiss had interest from WWE, and that talent within the company were pushing to sign him. He’s not yet signed by TNA.

DeReiss would be in familiar company if TNA were to pick him up, as DeReiss is one half of the tag team Boisterous Behavior along with Leon Slater.

Amongst those we spoke with in the UK scene, one source stated that TNA would be ‘nuts’ to not pick up DeReiss and that he is ‘good to go’. One major name in British Wrestling said DeReiss that those in the UK scene already knew he was a star but now his star will shine brighter. We heard nothing but talent, promoters and other sources in British wrestling being happy for DeReiss.
