Potential Bullet Club Prospect Lays Out Omega As Bullet Club Infighting Continues

The Bullet Club's infighting reached new levels tonight at New Year's Dash as Kenny Omega's idea to mend fences failed.

In a ten man tag match, Kota Ibushi, Juice Robinson, David Finlay, KUSHIDA and Ryusuke Taguchi lost to Bullet Club members Cody, Yujiro Takahashi, Chase Owens, Leo Tonga and Marty Scurll when Cody pin Finlay. Cody wasn't satisfied with just a win, however, and proceeded to lay out Kota Ibushi. He was about to strike him with a chair when Kenny Omega came out to an enormous pop and stopped the assault. Omega and Cody got in each others faces, but Cody backed down and made his exit.

Omega took a microphone and said that he was tired of the infighting. He declared that he found a solution that would unify them: Switchblade Jay White. He asked him to come down to the ring, and he obliged. Omega gave him the shirt, and White put it on, signaling that he was joining them. But it was a ruse, as White jumped him and laid him out with the Bladerunner. Bullet Club members took Omega away as his plan had clearly failed.

Cody and Kenny Omega have butted heads before, most notably during the Long Beach shows last summer. But tonight signaled that all isn't rosy within the Bullet Club.
