President Trump has Been Invited To Mayweather vs. McGregor

In last than three weeks, the highly anticipated super fight between Floyd Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor is taking place.

While lots of big name guests are expected to be in attendance, the biggest of them all may be the President Of The United States in Donald Trump.

“I haven’t personally invited the president, but I am told an invitation is out there,” Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe said at a media session. “Whether he comes or not, we are going to have a great event.”

Trump has been invited to other combat sports events in the past, most recently UFC 205 last year from Madison Square Garden in New York.

Ellerbe also states that President Trump isn’t the only big name celebrity that wants to be in attendance at the super fight.

“Every A-lister wants to be involved in this fight,” Ellerbe said. “There is tremendous interest from all kinds of people.”

Conor McGregor versus Floyd Mayweather takes place on Saturday, August 26 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
