Ramzan Kadyrov Says Fedor Emelianenko Is Meddling With His Family

MMA

Fedor Emelianenko is currently preparing to battle fellow heavyweight Matt Mitrione next year at Bellator 172, but his battle with Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov may extend far beyond that. Kadryov is now accusing the legendary heavyweight of meddling in his family’s affairs via the usage of social media.

"Together with a comment, he posted a photo of my small son on the Internet. And different people went on the social networks and began to insult the child,” Kadyrov explained to TASS.ru. “Fedor could have posted the picture after the fight with Maldonado, if that is his principle! And it is not necessary to touch someone else's son. Emelianenko is not ethical and not a man. He reached into my family.”

Kadyrov didn't stop there. He wondered why Fedor even chimed in to begin with. Emelianenko criticized Kadryrov promoting children's MMA.

"He directs amateur MMA unrelated to professional clubs, including ours. Why did he give his opinion?” said Kadyrov.

Fedor has yet to respond to the newest allegations put forth by Kadyrov, Fedor’s last public appearance was back at Bellator 165, where he faced off with future opponent Matt Mitrione.
