Randy Orton has been rather outspoken about the Colin Kaepernick controversy in recent weeks. The former WWE Champion expanded on those thoughts when talking to Booker T recently.
Orton turned heads recently when he spoke out in regards to Kaepernick's decision to sit out the national anthem in protest of police violence.
On Heated Conversations With Booker T, Orton said that his stance has changed a little bit in just a few days.
“I’d rather hear what the man has to say. In recent weeks I know he’s talked a lot about what his issue was, and I respect the issues. This world is a scary place. People are dying. There’s a lot of issues and everyone needs to unite together, as hard as that may seem, and talk about the issues. Kneeling when the national anthem is played or the pledge of allegiance is played, I just disagree with the way that he did it," said Orton.
After Orton's comments on Twitter, former WWE United States Champion MVP offered to give him a little more perspective.
Orton is currently involved in a feud with Bray Wyatt on WWE's Smackdown brand.
