Things aren't looking too hot for WWE Monday Night Raw.
Last night's episode of Raw managed only 2.911 million viewers on average, according to Showbuzz Daily. The number is a big, double digit drop from last week's 3.314 million viewers, and is one of the lowest non-holiday numbers in 20 years.
The Olympics averaged 28.8 million viewers Monday, but was down from over 30 million during the last two Summer games. Despite Raw's low numbers, it was still the most viewed show on cable. It also ranked number two in the coveted 18-49 demographic, behind Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
None of Raw's three hours were above 3 million viewers Monday night, with the first hour starting at 2.95 million viewers, the second at 2.974 viewers, and the third dropping off at 2.809 million. This is among the worst numbers since the show moved to three hours, although several holiday episodes have been lower.
Raw was headlined by a main event featuring Rusev defending his United States Championship against Cesaro, and also saw the return of Daniel Bryan as a special guest of General Manager Mick Foley.
