RAW Viewership Drops Again On 10/2 With Reigns vs Miz IC Title Match

Last night's episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, featuring two big advertised matches--Braun Strowman vs Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs The Miz for the Intercontinental Title--fell to 2.773 million viewers, according to ShowBuzz Daily. This is down over 5% from the 2.923 million viewers that watched last week's show and represents the lowest number since June 12th. The final segment of the show--the supposed "main event"--featured an angle with the new Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore roasting his fellow 205 Live competitors--the second week in a row that the Cruisers closed the episode.

Last night's first hour drew 2.945 million viewers, the second hour dropped to 2.756 million viewers as the NFL game began on ESPN, and the final hour fell even further, to 2.619 million viewers.

Monday Night Football was the clear winner again, bringing in close to 12 million viewers. RAW was #13 in viewership on cable for the night, behind NFL on ESPN, Hannity, Tucker Carlson, The Story, Special Report, Happening Now, America's Newsroom, The Five, Fox News Tonight, America's Newsroom, Fox & Friends and Outnumbered. FOX News' coverage of the Las Vegas shooting appeared to be the big draw of the evening, but only among older viewers, as RAW managed to take the #4 spot in the 18-49 demographic--behind only the Redskins-Chiefs game, SportsCenter and Love & Hip-Hop.
