The WWE and USA Network often use Neilson ratings to gauge interest in their programs. With technology increasing, the ratings systems haven't changed that much, and we're stuck not getting an appropriate quarter-hour breakdown. Fightful.com brings you a breakdown of the company's weekly Youtube Rankings for each show.
Not only did Randy Orton's invasion of Raw do impressive numbers, it nearly landed at 5 million views -- almost unheard of today. Despite the controversy surrounding Brock Lesnar, it would appear as if WWE has a hit on their hands as it pertains to Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar coming up at Summerslam.
Also performing well were Finn Balor/Seth Rollins and Sasha Banks/Enzo Amore/Charlotte/Chris Jericho promo segments, both over 2 million views. The mixed tag match that followed that of the latter also went well over one million views, as did the United States Championship match between Rusev and Mark Henry. A surprising number was Jinder Mahal's return, landing in the top half, and almost reaching 1,000,000.
Nia Jax, Darren Young, Titus O'Neil, Braun Strowman, Shining Stars and Golden Truth rounded out the bottom of the list. Jax and Strowman competed in enhancement matches, with Jax's consistently near the bottom of the rankings of late. The in-ring main event of the night, Seth Rollins vs. Sami Zayn, finished with 950,863 views, ranking 7th of 13.
