A middleweight division clash is expected to headline UFC Fight Night: Shanghai as former UFC Middleweight Champion #6 Anderson Silva faces #8 Kelvin Gastelum.

Silva (34-8-0-1NC) is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Derek Brunson in the co-main event of UFC 208 earlier this year. Silva is a former UFC Middleweight Champion and he defeated Rich Franklin at UFC 64 to win the championship. Silva has only earned a single victory in the last four years, which was the aforementioned win over Brunson earlier ths year.
Gastelum (13-3-0-1NC) was originally supposed to fight Silva this past June at UFC 212, but was then suspended by USADA for a failed drug test and the fight was called off. Gastelum has won just two of his last four fights, but one of those wins came over former UFC Welterweight Champion Johny Hendricks at UFC 200. Gastelum was also the winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 17, defeating Uriah Hall in the finals of the reality show.
UFC Fight Night: Shanghai takes place on Saturday, November 25 from the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China with Anderson Silva and Kelvin Gatselum headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
