A featherweight division affair may be coming to UFC On Fox 27 as #12 Dennis Bermudez could be in action against Andre Fili.

Bermudez (16-7-0) enters the fight while on a two bout losing streak, dropping fights to Chan Sung Jung and Darren Elkins. Bermudez competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 14, making it all the way to the finals before being submitted by Diego Brandao. Bermudez hasn’t earned a victory in well over a year and that last win came over Rony Jason at UFC Fight Night 92.
Fili (17-5-0) has rotated wins and losses in his last nine UFC appearances, with the last bout being a victory over Artem Lobov at UFC Fight Night Gdansk. Fili has seen his last three fights go the distance and it has been almost two years since the competitor got a finish. Fili had once challenged for the Rebel Fighter Lightweight Title, losing to Derrick Burnsed by decision in 2010.
UFC On Fox 27 takes place on Saturday, January 27 from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina with Ronaldo Souza and Derek Brunson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
