Imagine spending the first 28 years of your life not knowing that your biological father was really Olympic Gold Medalist and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, or at least not knowing that your employer was going to assign you to pretend to be, as part of an elaborate storyline.
Now imagine them telling you about it less than a week before the big reveal.
According to a report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that's exactly what happened to Jason Jordan.
The report states that the decision likely came down to which member of American Alpha to use and that Jordan was chosen over Chad Gable only recently.
Gable has remained on SmackDown, effectively ending the tag team, which held the gold in both NXT and on the Main Roster. The duo were insanely over with the Full Sail crowd, but they never really seemed to click with SmackDown audiences.
The YouTube video of the segment, which can be viewed at the top of the page, has received over 2 million views in the 60 or so hours since it went up on the site.
