A heavyweight division affair could be added to UFC 222 per Farah Hannoun as Jordan Johnson might be competing against Adam Milstead.

Johnson (8-0-0) has already earned two victories in UFC competition, last defeating Marcel Fortuna by unanimous decision at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale. Johnson is also a former Resurrection Fighting Alliance Light Heavyweight Champion, defeating LaMarcus Tucker to win the gold in in late 2016. Johnson has seen his last three fights go the distance and it has been almost two years since the fighter got a finish.

Milstead (8-1-0-1NC) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Chris De La Rocha at UFC Fight Night 88. Milstead has yet to see any of his professional MMA bouts go the distance and only four of those fights went into the second round. Milstead’s lone professional MMA defeat came in his professional MMA debut in 2011 and that loss came to Dane Bonnigson at North American Allied Fight Series: Spohn vs. Hawk 2.

UFC 222 takes place on Saturday, March 3 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
