Report: Pair Of Bouts Set For UFC Fight Night Austin, James Vick On Card

Two more bouts may be coming to the UFC Fight Night Austin card as #14 (Tied) James Vick faces #14 (Tied) Francisco Trinaldo and Jared Gordon faces Carlos Diego Ferreira.

Vick (12-1-0) enters the fight while on a three bout winning streak, last defeating Joseph Duffy by second round TKO at UFC 217. Vick has only suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Beneil Dariush at UFC 199.

Trinaldo (22-5-0) has won eight of his last nine in the UFC, with six of those wins coming by way of decision. Trinaldo is competing outside of Brazil for the first time in over two years, with UFC Fight Night 81 being his last appearance outside of the country.

Gordon (14-1-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Michel Quinones and Hacran Dias. Gordon is a former Cage Fury Fighting Championships Lightweight Champion, defeating Bill Algeo at CFFC 60 to win the belt.

Ferreira (12-2-0) has won just one of his last three in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Olivier Aubin-Mercier at UFC On Fox 18. Ferreira also returns to action for the first time in over two years, as his last bout took place in January of 2016.

UFC Fight Night Austin takes place on Sunday, February 18 from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas with Donald Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
