Report On Probable Winner Of Goldberg vs Lesnar, Reason For Undertaker vs Reigns Match

According to a report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, we already know what the real Main Event of WrestleMania 33 is going to be, and as many suspected, it won't feature the winner of the Royal Rumble or the WWE Title.

The Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg match is viewed as being the main attraction by those in power at the company an is currently scheduled to go on last. Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton will take a spot further down the card.

Also of note is the fact that Goldberg's contract expires after WrestleMania which means Brock Lesnar is scheduled to win the Universal Title. This would explain why he took the squash loss Goldberg at The Survivor Series and put him over so huge at The Royal Rumble.

There's another match that might trump Wyatt vs Orton, too. Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker is a pet project of Vince McMahon's. Original plans called for Taker to face John Cena but as we all know, plans can change. Apparently Vince has always had an itch to program an Taker vs Reigns match at WrestleMania before 'Taker retires, and it looks like this is the year Vince finally gets to scratch that itch.

Other matches currently confirmed for WrestleMania include:

  • Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho for the US Title
  • Bayley vs Sasha Banks vs Charlotte for the Raw Women's Title
  • Alexa Bliss vs Every Available Woman On The SmackDown Roster For The SmackDown Women's Title
  • The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
