Report: WWE Pitching Women's Competition Reality Show

WWE is throwing around a number of reality show ideas involving female talent.

PWInsider is reporting that WWE is looking to continue their relationship with Bunim-Murray Productions, which also produces Total Divas and Total Bellas, with a new reality show. The idea being pitched around seems like a combination of the Diva Search and Tough Enough reality shows from the last decade, as well as the NXT reality concept, all in an effort to create a new female star. One of the ideas of the reality show would be the group of women touring with WWE on a bus.

Another reality show being pitched is one centering around The Miz and Maryse. This would focus on their life as a married couple in Hollywood, all while expecting and raising their first child.

WWE in the past has pitched ideas of bringing back either Tough Enough or the Diva Search as a WWE Network show, but neither has come into fruition as of yet. The last season of Tough Enough aired on the USA Network back in 2015, with Sara Lee and Josh Brendl winning contracts. The last Diva Search was held during episodes of Raw in 2007, with Eve Torres winning a contract.

Total Bellas is nearing the end of its second season, while Total Divas is preparing to launch shortly with season seven, with Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss as new cast members.
