Report: X-Pac Cleared Of Drug Charges

X-Pac will remain a free man.

At the end of April, Sean Waltman (also known as X-Pac) was arrested for the possession and intent to sell of methamphetamine. Waltman said he was met at the gate of his flight by customs agents. He admitted to having medical marijuana products but said he was arrested because of some capsules suspected to be methamphetamine. Waltman who is a recovering addict said he was innocent, the capsules were a supplement to fight a yeast infection, and his name would be cleared soon. He told TMZ one customs agent, in particular, seemed to want him to be arrested.

"That was the only way they could get anybody to take me, or else they were going to have to let me go. Well, this one guy was not going to have that. Now if they really think that was meth-like substance in there, or if they were trying to stick it to me, who knows," said Waltman.

On Friday, ProWrestlingSheet.com reported Waltman's case was dropped because of insufficient evidence. According to his arrest report, the capsules were tested with a field test which revealed a "mayor's reagent." After his arrest, Waltman tweeted he would be cleared when the lab results came back.

Because of his past, Waltman said he understood doubt from friends, family, and fans. There has been no recent statement about the situation from Waltman. His podcast X-Pac 1-2-360 airs Thursdays.

Fightful Wrestling will cover any statements or forthcoming details from Waltman's arrest.
