Rey Mysterio is proud of Lucha Underground and Prince Puma.
At New York Comic Con, Rey Mysterio appeared on Marvel Live! and spoke about his experience at comic con, funny wrestling stories and Lucha Undergroud. Rey Mysterio went over why he considers Lucha Underground special.
"Right out the start, the way wrestling is displayed there. It's an art form. And for me, the way I grew up in Tijuana, across the border from San Diego, was Lucha Libre. Lucha Underground displays Lucha Libre at it's best. High flying nonstop action. It's incredible," said Rey Mysterio.
Last season on Lucha Underground, Rey Mysterio had a match with Prince Puma, who considered it a dream match. He spoke highly of Prince Puma.
"I don't think the pressure hit in until after the match, and Prince Puma expressed the way he felt about me.That's when I went ' WoW.' To have had the match that we had that night, and for him to tell me what he felt afterwards was incredible. So I was very inspired by what he said, and hoping that he continues on with a lot of success cause to me he's probably the number one wrestler out there right now," said Rey Mysterio.
Mysterio also revealed "We are getting ready for our fourth season (at Lucha Underground)." Mysterio is also wrestling for AAA and the occasional independent promotion.
