Ring of Honor Episode 258 (September 8th) Los Ingobernables de Japon & Jay Lethal VS The Bullet Club & More!

Welcome to the Fightful.com recap for this week's episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling! Tonight is set to be unforgettable as we have ourselves a dream match; Tetsuya Naito and EVIL of Los Ingobernables de Japon team up with Jay Lethal to take on Adam Cole and The Bullet Club!

Adam Cole, Yujiro Takahashi & Adam Page vs Jay Lethal, Tetsuya Naito & EVIL

Yujiro and EVIl start it off, EVIl being aggressive, but Yujiro drops him then they alternate headlocks until EVIL rakes at Yujiro's eyes. EVIL drops Yujiro with a shoulder block then Yujiro tags in Adam Cole. Jay Lethal tags himself in, Cole quickly tagging in Hangman Page as we go to commercial.

Naito is in against Page as we come back. Naito sends Page to the outside then does his signature pose as the crowd gets behind Naito. Page tags in Cole then Jay tags himself in. Cole tags Page back in and runs out of the ring, then Naito tries to calm Jay, but Cole tags himself in and attacks Naito from behind. Naito stomps Cole in the corner then teases Jay, not letting him get the tag. Jay tags himself in and goes after Cole after glaring at Naito. Jay and Adam exchange jumping kicks then Jay hits a step up enzugiri. Cole tags in Page and Jay goes to tag Naito, but he denies him then heads up the ramp, saying "adios" as they leave Jay Lethal as we go to commercial.

Bullet Club mug Lethal as we come back, the numbers game  just too much for Jay. Michael Elgin comes out and takes out Page and Yujiro with a double power slam then hits Cole with one for a quick 2 count.  Elgin hits a spinning lariat that sends Page outside then Bullet Club gang up on Elgin as Kyle O'Reilly comes out. Elgin tags in O'Reilly then Kyle and Adam exchange forearms in the center of the ring, then right hands. Kyle hits a flying forearm then a tornado DDT into a brainbuster for a close 2 count as we go to commercial. Kyle puts an armbar on Cole who gets up and kicks him in the face. Cole goes to superkick Kyle who hits a series of punches and kicks, but Cole hops over his leg sweep and hits a superkick that drops O'Reilly. Kyle tags in Lethal, Cole tagging in Yujiro, exchanging forearms in the center of the ring. Jay hits The Lethal Injection out of no where for the pin and the win.

Winner: Jay Lethal via pinfall with The Lethal Injection

Bobby Fish vs Katsuyori Shibata ROH TV Title Match

They start off with a series of kicks and punches then Shibata goes for the PK, but Fish gets out of the way. Shibata applies a rear chin lock then kicks Fish in the back, following it up with a figure four leg lock, but can't get the tap as Fish rolls Shibata over, Shibata rolling it back over. Fish rolls Shibata back over then rolls it over again to the ropes as we go to commercial.

Fish applied a kneebar to Shibata during the commercial. Shibata gets back in the ring, but Fish is right on him, following it up with a knee then a senton for a quick 2 count. Prince Nana comes out and joins us on commentary as Fish stomps Shibata in the corner. Fish drops Shibata then he gets up to his knees and takes a series of kicks from Fish, the two exchanging forearms then Shibata hits a running boot in the corner, dropping Fish with a series of forearms then a delayed dropkick. Shibata hits a floatover suplex for a quick 2 count then applies a standing rear naked choke, but can't get the tap. Shibata goes for the PK, but  Fish counters with an inverted atomic drop into a powerbomb. Fish applies an achilies lock, but can't get the tap, Shibata applying an ankle lock on Fish, both rolling to the ropes as we go to commercial. 

They exchange forearms as we come back from commercial. Shibata hits an STO for a quick 1 count then a butterfly suplex for a 2 count. Shibata transitions into an armbar, but Fish transitions into an armbar, but Shibata gets another. Shibata transitions into a triangle choke, but Fish rolls him over for the roll up and the pin and win.

Winner: Bobby Fish via pinfall
