Impact Wrestling sent out a tweet in support of Robbie E's decision and Fightful has been told that the release was mutual.

Robbie E is a two-time TNA World Tag Team Champion with Jessie Godderz, while also being a former one-time TNA Television Champion and TNA X Division Champion. He had a handful of appearances on WWE television in the mid-2000s, but saw his career rise when he was signed by TNA back in 2010. He also represented Impact Wrestling in Pro Wrestling Noah's Global Tag League tournament earlier this year. Robbie E even appeared, alongside Brooke Adams, on the 25th season of "The Amazing Race."

Once again, Impact lost another roster member that has been with the company for several years. Robbie E joins the likes of Low Ki, Tyrus and Angelina Love to leave the company in just the past few months.
