Royce Gracie Files For Divorce

The legendary Royce Gracie, who is arguably the most important fighter in MMA history, has filed for divorce from his wife of 22 years, Marianne Cuttic, this is according to TMZ Sports.

The couple does have a total of four children together; Gracie is seeking joint legal and physical custody of all the children that are under the age of 18, which three of the four children are.

Gracie is citing such things are irreconcilable differences for the reason behind the divorce.  The UFC Hall Of Fame member is also seeking spousal support from his wife and he is making a claim that she should be handling cost for all attorney’s fees.

Gracie’s apparent future ex-wide is a podiatrist and the couple is rumored to be dealing with claims from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that they both owe a grand total of $1 million in back taxes.

Gracie last competed as a professional MMA fighter at Bellator 149, where he defeated longtime rival Ken Shamrock by TKO in the opening round of their battle. Gracie does have a long standing relationship with the promotion, as he regularly appears at fan fests, autograph signings and other things that help build the Bellator MMA brand.

Neither Royce Gracie or Marianne Cuttic have issued any form of statements on the state of their marriage, the divorce papers have also been filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, which is where the soon to be divorced couple reside.
