Ryback Discusses Summer Rae And Emma's WWE Releases

Ryback walked away from a WWE contract extension in 2016, and November of this year saw many other names leave the company as well, but by way of release.

On a recent episode of Conversation with The Big Guy, Ryack spoke about the cuts of two female WWE talent in the form of Summer Rae. In the case of Summer Rae, Ryback thinks outside interests will keep her occupied.

"Summer Rae-- I'm not sure what the deal was. She hadn't been on television for a while. I always got along great with Summer Rae. I don't know what the situation was with that, but I'm sure she'll be fine. She had other things going on besides wrestling," said Ryback.

As it pertains to Emma, Ryback addressed the hot-button topic involving her being in a back-and-forth match with the highly-pushed Asuka before her release. The former Intercontinental Champion also suspects that her social media complaints contributed to her firing.

"I know a lot of people thought it was weird she had a competitive match with Asuka at the pay per view and on Raw. I'm sure she's had good matches on live events as well, but she just wasn't used on TV in a good fashion. Apparently with Emma (and) social media -- if you do stuff out of the company guidelines and you tweet things about not being used the right way, about your booking, or creative -- you don't do yourself any favors. Just go talk to them," he said.
