Samoa Joe Discusses Possible CM Punk Return To Wrestling

Samoa Joe was one of CM Punk's most storied rivals, even though they haven't locked horns in over a decade.

When speaking to the UK Sun, Samoa Joe opened up about Punk, and his MMA career. Joe was also asked if he thought that CM Punk would ever consider a return to pro wrestling.

"You never know with Punk. He is definitely somebody who does things his own way and I think the biggest thing is that you can never count out what his next move will be. I think no one would have predicted his move to UFC, nobody would have predicted a lot of things he does, so whatever he chooses to do, he will do what feels best in the moment," said Joe.

The former WWE Champion was also indecisive about whether he'd want to battle his old rival or team up with him if a return ever went down.

"It depends on how I feel about him that week," Joe told the outlet. "It changes a lot as good friendships do!"

Earlier this year, Bullet Club extended an invitation to Punk to join their group if he came back to wrestling.
